The next couple of months are filled with kids' birthday parties. Try as I might, it's simply not as easy as one might think to make Darth Vader creative and crafty. Trust me, the nephews do not want my hand designed version of Darth on an invitation, nor do they find little light saber place cards or homemade Chubacca piƱatas charming. Nope. Somehow those things just don't fly past the age of four. One trip to Party City is all they really want. If they only knew. If they only understood how much I would love to use some of the handmade, tragically cute decorations I found at Mahar Dry Goods.

Don't they realize that planning is 3/4ths of the fun? Ha. Ha. This site is great! I shared with all of my mom friends. I always make my own garland. Unfortunately, they always look "handmade."
Yes! So Cute! I will be checking back frequently for birthday party ideas. I have 5 young'uns, and like to steer away from the commercialized, cookie-cutter stuff that's everywhere. Now, to find the time to do it all...
that's an outstanding achievement in crochet! too bad i'm afraid of clowns.
Parties...parties...parties are everywher...ready to start rollin' and rockin'! But don't forget to have something nice gifts or favors to give away for guests.
