The Easter Bunny prefers pretty eggs

So do I, quite frankly. I told you I signed up for Martha Stewart's Easter Workshop and, as promised, she has delivered. Here are a few of my favorite eggs. No matter how large or small your Easter event may be, there is absolutely no excuse for boring eggs. Get out your wax crayons and hop to it (lame pun, but come on- it's Easter!).

Hi! I stumbled across your blog somehow a while back and enjoy reading! You have the cutest ideas and I wish i could come and work for you! :)

I have a question: did you learn calligraphy only through a class or did you start with a book or something? I want to take a calligraphy class but none are offered where i currently live, so I thought I might start with a book!! Take care and keep posting!! it helps me procrastinate at work :)

I have always enjoyed writing and writing styles. I took two semesters of calligraphy at a community college to learn some of the basics. Since then I have just practiced different styles that I like and made modifications to my own handwriting. I do know there are books, but I really couldn't recommend one over another. Most important are your pens (I use a dip pen) and having a light table. There is simply no excuse for sloppy penmanship! Try it, you'll love it!
